What’s New on Cake?
Last night, we pushed out a new release chock full of features based on your requests. In addition to the features that are visible on the web site, we also have ongoing backend updates aimed at improving our data quality. Please continue to let us know if you have questions about specific positions or performance data in your Cake portfolios – your feedback is vital for the continual improvement and growth of Cake!
Here’s a summary of the new stuff that you’ll find on Cake:
New Help Pages
Have questions about linking your brokerage, building your network or general FAQ’s about Cake’s security and privacy? We’ve added a series of new help pages to answer these questions.
Performance Summary Totals
Now you can view your portfolio summary totals by performance, value and gain. Log in to your Cake account, click on the “Portfolio” link under “My Home” - in the “Performance Summary” section at the top of the page, you will see this new view by performance, value and gain. You will also see a new total row if you have multiple brokerages linked to your Cake account.
Inbox Updates
Read your Cake messages, account alerts, contact requests and manage your invitations more easily in this new version of your “Inbox”. Preserve your messages by archiving them, and easily track the status of contact requests and invitations that you’ve sent.
Buttons, Graphics and Headers, Oh My!
Throughout the site, you’ll notice new headers, graphics, and button styles all geared at improving your experience and the ease of use on Cake.
Coming Soon
Our next release should be very exciting – we have some great products and features that we’ve been working on based on your feedback. Not to let the cat out of the bag too early, but in a nutshell, we want to make it easier for you to build your network as well as introduce new ways for you to compare and contrast your performance with your Cake network. Finally, we’re working on new methods for you to share your performance with your trusted network of family and friends. Check back here for more updates!
